Sports Areas

Sports Field
An outdoor sports complex has been renovated near the Kauno kolegija campus on Pramonės av. Sports enthusiasts can play soccer and basketball on the multipurpose court. A beach volleyball court, a running track, and outdoor fitness equipment have also been installed.
The dormitories of Kauno kolegija and other higher education institutions are located very close to the sports complex, so it is expected that this sports area will perfectly complement students’ leisure activities. The sports complex is open to city residents, so residents of the nearby Dainava neighborhood can also use it.
Gyms
There are two sports halls on the campus (at 22 Pramonės av.—shown in the first, second, and third photos—and Pramonės av. 20—in the fourth, fifth, and sixth photos)—designed for basketball, indoor soccer, indoor volleyball, table tennis, aerobics, and other indoor sports. There is a weight room at Pramonės av. 20.

Gym
In the fall of 2024, a modern fitness center opened its doors at 22 Pramonės av., next to the sports hall, for all students and staff looking to spend their time in an active and healthy way. Here you’ll find exercise machines, a free-weight area, and a section for stretching and functional training. The gym is designed so that everyone feels comfortable and motivated to achieve their goals.

Active Movement Studio
Activities are in full swing at the Active Movement Studio (Pramonės av. 22, Kaunas), which opened in the fall of 2016. This space is equipped with a wide range of modern equipment designed to build strength, speed, and endurance. Classes include X-Fit, rock climbing, weightlifting, and other workouts. The studio covers a very large area, is equipped with high-quality non-slip flooring, and features plenty of mirrors, making it ideal for group activities involving large numbers of people, such as ballroom dancing.

Folk dance
Kauno kolegija is home to the “KauKas” folk dance troupe, which actively participates in the cultural life of Kaunas and the country. The folk dance troupe was founded in November 2012 on the initiative of students who love to dance. Rehearsing twice a week, the group frequently performs at various events, participates in international festivals and competitions in Lithuania and abroad, and organizes interesting events and evening gatherings together with students from other institutions of higher education.
During the academic year, the folk dance group rehearses on Mondays and Thursdays from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. (in the Multifunctional Hall, 22 Pramonės av., Kaunas).
