Routledge publishes a new book co-edited by Kauno kolegija lecturer
Dr Marijana Prodanović, Associate Professor at the Language Centre of the Faculty of Arts and Education at Kauno kolegija, together with her colleague Dr Lydia Mitits, has presented a new edited volume – ‘Empowering EMI Educators for Effective Teaching: Tools and Tips’, published by the prestigious international publishing house Routledge.
This publication is designed for higher education educators who deliver their courses in English (English-Medium Instruction – EMI). Rather than focusing purely on theory, the book addresses the practical challenges faced by instructors worldwide when teaching in a non-native language.
About the book and its value
Over the past two decades, higher education has experienced significant global growth, with English-Medium Instruction acting as a primary driver. Having experienced these dynamics firsthand, the editors aimed to address common classroom challenges and offer actionable solutions.

Mitits previously visited the Language Centre at Kauno kolegija as a guest lecturer, which further strengthened their academic partnership and paved the way for this joint publication with Routledge.
