Lecturer Babette Dolfin from The Hague University of Applied Sciences delivers a training session on responsible AI use in assessment to Business Faculty lecturers at Kauno kolegija.

UNINOVIS partnership strengthens innovation in studies at the Faculty of Business

On 26 February, the third training session for lecturers of the Faculty of Business was held at Kauno kolegija Higher Education Institution, delivered by Babette Dolfin, a lecturer from The Hague University of Applied Sciences (Hague UAS, Netherlands), a partner of the international UNINOVIS alliance. This session concluded the cycle of didactic training that began in November 2025.

During the session, Babette Dolfin, representing The Hague Centre for Teaching & Learning (HCTL), focused the attention of the Faculty of Business lecturers on the application of artificial intelligence (AI) in the organisation and assessment of studies, while also raising discussion questions.

During the discussions, lecturers not only shared their personal experiences but also raised questions regarding the ethical use of AI and the potential challenges of integrating these tools into study programmes. This dialogue generated ideas on how the content of subjects/modules, assignments, assessment criteria and the role of lecturers should evolve.

It is expected that the outcomes of these training sessions will directly contribute to the modernisation of the study process at the Faculty of Business, providing students with the opportunity to study in an environment where the most advanced solutions are used. Continuous professional development of lecturers ensures that the study content remains innovative and that graduates are prepared to apply the most advanced technological solutions responsibly and creatively in their future professional activities.
