Students of the Faculty of Business are invited to participate in a BIP programme in Portugal

Students of the Faculty of Business of Kauno kolegija Higher Education Institution are invited to apply for the international Blended Intensive Programme ‘Optimisation for Industry: Empowering Students to Tackle Industrial Challenges’, which will take place at the School of Management and Technology of the Polytechnic of Porto, Portugal.

The programme is intended for students who wish to gain practical experience in addressing real industrial challenges through the application of optimisation methods, broaden their international outlook, and strengthen their problem-solving skills. The programme will consist of a virtual component taking place in April 2026 and a contact week in Portugal from 4 to 8 May 2026. This blended study format combines remote preparation with intensive in-person activities in an international academic environment.

During the programme, students will address real industrial problems, apply optimisation methodologies, collaborate in international teams, and seek solutions to practical challenges. Participation in this programme will provide an opportunity not only to deepen academic knowledge, but also to strengthen collaboration, analytical thinking, and the ability to work in an international environment.

Students who successfully complete the programme will be awarded 3 ECTS credits and a certificate of completion. This is a valuable opportunity to gain international experience, strengthen practical skills, and broaden both professional and academic horizons.

Students wishing to participate in the programme are invited to apply by 22 March 2026. After the application deadline, only the selected* candidates will be contacted.

* Students will be selected according to the following criteria: the relevance of their study programme to the topic of the programme, motivation to participate, academic achievements, and additional criteria (priority will be given to students who have not previously participated in mobility activities).
