Faculty of Business students are invited to participate in a BIP in Portugal

Partners of Kauno kolegija Higher Education Institution – Thomas More University of Applied Sciences (Belgium) together with ISLA Santarém – Instituto Politécnico (Portugal) – invite students to take part in the Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) ‘MAC (Managing Across Cultures) 2 Santarém’.

The programme is intended for 2nd–3rd year students from all study programmes of the Faculty of Business who wish to broaden their horizons and apply the knowledge acquired during their studies in an international context. The learning process will begin with an online session on 21 April 2026, followed by an on-site week in Santarém, Portugal, taking place on 4–8 May 2026. This blended format enables participants to effectively combine remote preparation with intensive practical work during the in-person visit.

During the visit to Portugal, students will engage in dynamic activities: they will work in international teams and participate in specialised lectures, seminars, and creative workshops. In addition to academic sessions, visits to international companies are planned, offering participants an opportunity to gain first-hand insight into business processes and to develop solutions to real challenges faced by the global market.

Students who successfully complete the programme will be awarded 3 ECTS credits. This is an excellent opportunity to gain international experience, broaden one’s perspective, and strengthen competences required in today’s global labour market.

Students who wish to take advantage of this opportunity are invited to register by 5 March 2026. After the deadline, the selection of candidates will take place, and only selected participants will be informed of the results.
