Let’s meet again at historic Pelėdų Hill, where a 'Lunch on the Grass' picnic will take place at 6:30 P.M., followed by an acoustic concert by the band BALTOS VARNOS at 8:00 P.M.
About the concert.
At 8:00 P.M. on the Hill of Owls, the band 'Baltos Varnos' will invite you to a cozy acoustic evening under the open sky. Their music is imbued with nature, a touch of mysticism, and inner silence, inviting you to briefly step away from everyday life.
On stage – Teresė and Milda Andrijauskaitės, whose voices, accompanied by the sounds of guitar and violin, create a sensitive and atmospheric musical world. Julius Bakanauskas will join them on bass guitar.
The acoustic program will feature songs familiar to listeners as well as new arrangements, blending bright melancholy, tranquility, and inner elation. This is a concert that invites you to pause, listen, and experience music as a quiet yet profound experience.
About the picnic.
The now-legendary 'Vieno prancūzo sandėliukas' and 'La Petite Patisserie' picnics in various venues – a celebration not only for foodies but also for connoisseurs of knowledge – have become a highly anticipated part of the Pažaislis Festival since the summer of 2024. As is customary at these picnics, we’ll invite participants to bring a cozy blanket and other items that will make your impromptu picnic spot even cozier. This time, we will be joined by Rasa Jona Ruibienė, a legendary, long-time curator at the M. K. Čiurlionis Art Museum, who will entertain the picnic-goers with stories about Liudas Truikis, a man inspired by love and Paris.
