1. Choose the study programme.
2. Register in our online application system. Applicants can indicate 2 study programmes of their choice in descending order of priority.
3. Prepare and upload all required documents.
4. Receive the invoice for the application fee (120 Eur, non-refundable) and pay it. Once the payment has been completed, upload the proof of payment to the application system.
5. After the application fee is received, Kauno kolegija Higher Education Institution will proceed with qualification recognition, following the recommendations of the Centre for Quality Assessment in Higher Education. For more information regarding the Centre for Quality Assessment in Higher Education, please visit this link. Applicants do not need to pay an additional fee for academic recognition.
6. Take the key competence test and participate in a motivational interview. For admission to study programmes in the field of arts, the creative assignment shall be applied in place of the key competence test. The responsible specialists will contact the applicant before the test.
7. Applicants who have not provided an English language certificate should request an invoice for the English test offered by Kauno kolegija. After completing the payment, please upload a copy of the bank transfer receipt. 
8. Obtain admission confirmation from our Admission Coordinator.
9. Pay the tuition fee and sign the study agreement.
10. Apply for a Temporary Residence Permit (more information here)
11. Plan your arrival to Lithuania.

1. Official notarised documents (minimum 50% GPA) of a high school diploma (and university diploma, if any), including an academic transcript.
2. Copy of a passport or an ID card.
3. Motivational letter.
4. At least 1 reference.
5. An English language proficiency certificate (IELTS, TOEFL, EnglishScore or PTE) is required. Minimum scores: IELTS ≥5.5, TOEFL ≥75, EnglishScore ≥400 (CoreSkills), PTE ≥59. If applicants do not have such proof, they may take an English language test carried out by Kauno kolegija Higher Education Institution (B2 level required) for a fee of 45 EUR. The test is available only during the admission period. Note: A Medium of Instruction (MOI) letter is not accepted as proof of English proficiency.
6. All official documents must be presented in either English or the Lithuanian language. Verification from a notary is required for the English and Lithuanian translations of all written documents.
7. The application will not be considered if some of the required documents are missing.

NOTE. EU citizens have the opportunity to apply for a state-funded place. Applications should be submitted via the joint admission network, Association of Lithuanian Higher Education Institutions; otherwise, the application procedure is the same.

Deadlines for the application:
The institutional admission period runs from December 1st to June 1st for applicants from EU/EEA countries and until May 1st for applicants from non-EU/EEA countries.
The decision of admission and academic recognition is made within 4 weeks.
