Steps for the sending Institution

Steps for the student

  1. Make sure your home university nominated you.
  2. Wait until you receive an email from the Incoming Mobility Coordinator about the application procedures.
  3. Prepare the required documents and send them to the Incoming mobility coordinator:
  • Valid passport/ID: ensure your passport or ID is valid for the duration of your stay.
  • Proof of English language proficiency: submit a certificate of having a B2 level in English language.
  • Academic transcript: provide an up-to-date transcript showing your grades and courses.
  • Learning Agreement: prepare the Learning Agreement (a list of courses you plan to take during Erasmus+ mobility) and have it signed by your home university coordinator.

Before mobility, students are required to obtain travel insurance that covers the costs of healthcare, medical treatment, lost personal belongings, and return flights, among other expenses. For EU citizens, it is also recommended to get the European Health Insurance Card.

If your application is successful, you will receive an official acceptance letter from the Incoming Mobility Coordinator, which will outline the next steps and provide additional details.

Depending on your nationality, you may need to apply for a visa. Please inform the incoming mobility coordinator and prepare additional documents, such as proof of financial means (e.g., Erasmus+ funding or personal savings).

Erasmus+ application for Teaching/Training mobility

Fill in the Registration Form for Incoming Staff. Your application will be reviewed within 3 business days.

Once the responsible persons have approved your visit, you will receive an invitation letter by email.

After that, you have to start filling in your Mobility Agreement for Teaching/Training.

When leaving Kauno kolegija Higher Education Institution, you must visit the International Coordinator of the Faculty or the Incoming Mobility Coordinator (on the last day) to receive a duly completed and signed Certificate of Teaching/Training.
