Students are responsible for planning their application promptly to ensure they can legally reside in Lithuania by the start of the academic year. Kauno kolegija Higher Education Institution cannot influence the outcome or speed of TRP procedures.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>TRP is issued for the duration of the studies with a maximum validity of 2 years and may be renewed thereafter.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>TRP can be obtained at any of the 30 VFS Global centres operating abroad. The list of centres can be found <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/migracija.lrv.lt\/en\/structure-and-contacts\/information-for-visitors\/services-for-persons-abroad\/temporary-residence-permit-and-national-visa-services\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/migracija.lrv.lt\/en\/structure-and-contacts\/information-for-visitors\/services-for-persons-abroad\/temporary-residence-permit-and-national-visa-services\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">here<\/a><\/strong>.<br>Information on the documents required when applying for the TRP can be found <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.migracija.lt\/esu-studentas1\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.migracija.lt\/esu-studentas1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">here<\/a><\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A passport must be valid for at least 3 months after the expiry date of the TRP.
